Symbiosis Open Education Society is setting up state’s first Skills Development Universities in Pune and Indore. Skills development is the need of the hour.  The skill development university called Symbiosis Skill & Open University (SSOU) in Pune and Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) in Indore are in line with our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Make in India’.  The growing industry in the country today urgently requires skilled manpower and hence Symbiosis has decided to set up the universities.

Programs related to high growth sectors relevant to the nation are being targeted such as Automobile, Manufacturing etc.  A centre of excellence will be established in collaboration with local industry to provide skill training to the youth of the country
